Läsning Gal 1:13–24



Ni har hört hur jag förut levde som lagtrogen jude, hur jag hänsynslöst förföljde Guds församling och försökte utrota den. I trohet mot judendomen överträffade jag de flesta av mina judiska jämnåriga, ivrigare än någon annan hävdade jag traditionen från våra fäder. Men han som utsåg mig redan i moderlivet och som kallade mig genom sin nåd beslöt att uppenbara sin son för mig, för att jag skulle förkunna evangeliet om honom för hedningarna. Då frågade jag inte någon av kött och blod till råds, inte heller for jag upp till Jerusalem, till dem som var apostlar före mig. I stället begav jag mig till Arabien, och därifrån vände jag tillbaka till Damaskus.

Först tre år senare for jag upp till Jerusalem för att få tala med Kefas, och jag stannade fjorton dagar hos honom. Någon annan av apostlarna såg jag inte, bara Herrens bror Jakob. Vad jag skriver är sant, det tar jag Gud till vittne på.

Poznati britanski novinar Malcolm Muggeridge nije bio katolik kada je pisao o Majci Terezi u knjizi “Nešto lijepo za Boga”. Divio joj se i znao je da njezino svjetlo dolazi od Krista, ali prijepori i sukobi koje je vidio unutar Crkve spriječili su ga da u nju uđe. Lili Benčik avslöjar hur korset på Proština i Istrien återlämnades, ett minnesmärke över den tvångsflykt, som revs av kommunisterna 1947.

KRIŽ-föreningen skapades ur önskan att återställa minnet av en av de nästan bortglömda händelserna i Istriens historia – den tvångsexodus av befolkningen i Södra Istrien från 1915 till 1918.
