Five priests were standing around one man's deathbed.
He was the brother of Fr. Chad Ripperger, an exorcist. And Fr. Ripperger does not think it was luck.
When he was growing up, his mother, a holy woman, dragged the whole family to the Nine First Fridays. Not once. Several times. His father, a devout Catholic, always came along.
One of the promises of that devotion to the Sacred Heart is that you will not die an unprovided death. In his words, an unprovided death is dying in the state of mortal sin with no means to get back.
Then he told what happened in his own family:
"MY FIRST BROTHER THAT PASSED, WHEN HE DIED, FIVE PRIESTS WERE ON HIS DEATHBED."

Som pärlan i de gudomliga skrifternas åker är kärlekens höga visa. Finns någon som inte fångas av dess ljus? Vem har hört ens den inbitne ateisten höja rösten mot den? Pärlan fascinerar och lockar, men avslöjar också allt som ännu saknar det fullkomliga.
Också martyrerna – påven Cornelius och biskopen Cyprianus kallas ”okuvliga vittnen för sanningen” – också de påminns om att de ingenting vunnit om de saknat kärlek.

🕊️ Our Lady revealed to St. Bridget seven particular graces that she would obtain from her divine Son those who honored her Sorrows:
📆 September 15: Feast Day of Our Lady of Sorrows
1 → I will grant peace to their families.
2 → They will be enlightened about the divine Mysteries.
3 → I will console them in their pains and I will accompany them in their work.
4 → I will give them as much as they ask for as long as it does not oppose the adorable will of my divine Son or the sanctification of their souls.
5 → will defend them in their spiritual battles with the infernal enemy and I will protect them at every instant of their lives.
6 → I will visibly help them at the moment of their death—they will see the face of their mother.”
7 → I have obtained this grace from my divine Son, that those who propagate this devotion to my tears and dolors will be taken directly from this earthly life to eternal happiness, since all their sins will be forgiven and my Son will be their eternal consol
