Vid den tiden vandrade Jesus från stad till stad och från by till by och förkunnade budskapet om Guds rike. Seraphic Treasures – The Stigmata of St. Francis

Perhaps the greatest treasure of the Franciscan Order is the stigmata of our Holy Father, St. Francis. He was the first saint to receive the wounds of Christ. The manner in which he received them and the significance of their reception remind us of what we strive for during the holy season of Lent.
The Cross and Our Crucified Lord were the objects dearest in the heart of St. Francis. As Johannes Jorgensen writes: “It was the voice of the Cross that in San Damiano’s lonely church in 1207 had converted him from the world to follow Christ in naked poverty. ‘From that hour,’ says the Three Brothers’ Legend, ‘his heart was so sore and melted with the memory of Christ’s sufferings, that all his life he bore the wounds of the Lord Jesus in his heart.’” – (JJ)

Five priests were standing around one man's deathbed.
He was the brother of Fr. Chad Ripperger, an exorcist. And Fr. Ripperger does not think it was luck.
When he was growing up, his mother, a holy woman, dragged the whole family to the Nine First Fridays. Not once. Several times. His father, a devout Catholic, always came along.
One of the promises of that devotion to the Sacred Heart is that you will not die an unprovided death. In his words, an unprovided death is dying in the state of mortal sin with no means to get back.
Then he told what happened in his own family:
"MY FIRST BROTHER THAT PASSED, WHEN HE DIED, FIVE PRIESTS WERE ON HIS DEATHBED."
"WHEN MY SECOND BROTHER DIED, HE GOT ALL THE SACRAMENTS, INCLUDING THE APOSTOLIC PARDON, 15 MINUTES BEFORE HE DIED."
"MY FATHER RECEIVED THE LAST RITES THE DAY HE DIED."
Three deaths in one family. Not one of them unprovided.
"THIS DEVOTION IS REAL."
