SILLY SEASON #1

Som säkert flera av er vet har Skillingaryd värvat en internationell spelare vid namn Geraldo Gerdani från Grekland. En nyhet som uppmärksammats både lokalt samt nationellt. Under kommande veckor kommer truppens nyförvärv att presenteras och vi startar med en intervju med självaste Geraldo.

How do you feel about moving to Sweden, and in particularly Skillingaryd?
I'm super excited to call Sweden my new home for the next years, I just need to get used of the cold winter haha!

Are you familiar with the swedish hockey leagues? And what are your thoughts about playing here with SIS?

Yeah I can say I'm familiar with Swedish hockey leagues, I try to watch at least the highlights of the SHL.
I can't hide the happiness I'm feeling right now , I've been dreaming this moment since I started playing hockey, so I would like to thank SIS organization for giving me the chance to wear their jersey!


Do you have any expectations about the upcoming season?
During the upcoming season, I am to grow both on and off the ice. I hope to better my skills as a player, alongside
connecting with my future teammates and becoming a part of the community.

What do you think this adventure will bring to your hockey-career?
I have hopes that this adventure will be the start of a higher level of hockey for me here in Sweden and I believe that starting here
with SIS will help me to gain the skills and knowledge that come with playing in higher setting and level.

For those who doesn’t know you that well, can you tell us more about what we can expect from you as a hockey player? What are your strengths on the field?

While I may not bring much vertically to the team, I tend to be a physical player who isn't afraid to use his body.
I like to call myself a "two way player', as I excel at making both offensive and defensive plays.
One for the team and whatever it takes, I like to give my all during shifts and look out for my teammates.
