• Träning under Corona-virusets framfart

    Uppdatering 13 mars 13.00 SBBF:s rekommendation gällande träningsverksamhet för barn och ungdomar. Vi rekommenderar föreningar att följa de riktlinjer och beslut som respektive skolor och kommun fastställer. I korthet – hålls skolor och hallar öppna, kan träningsverksamhet bedrivas. Om inte, råder vi att lägga träningar på paus tillsvidare. I övrigt uppmanar vi alla ledare och spelare att följa Folkhälsomyndighetens direktiv med ett mindre tillägg: Skydda dig själv och andra. Känner du dig sjuk med snuva, hosta eller feber gå inte till TRÄNINGEN, jobbet, skolan eller förskolan. Det gäller även om du bara känner dig lite sjuk eller hängig.   • Yo-Yo test

    Tonight we run what is called the yo-yo test. Its full name: Yo-yo Intermittent Recovery Test. It combines short intensive runs with brief recovery periods (10sec). This gives a good level of realism about what happens on a basketball court during a game the players get a good evaluation of their fitness level and a good base for future improvement!     What a pleasure to start training that group again after the Christmas break! I am full of energy, new ideas and I hope you all will continue to follow us in this adventure :) Henrik, I and some players discussed during the first half of the season to have some "performance documentation" process. So we've worked on finding good exercises that will show the development and progress of every player when it comes to strenght and endurance/condition. I quickly mentionned tonight the 6 exercises that we will use, but you can also now find the Excel sheet here on Laget.se (in he Document menu). The goal is to simply document the performances and to run those tests on a regular basis for everyone to see his own progresses. It is not mandatoy but highly encouraged. Only you and us (Henrik and me) will have access to your data. If you want to share it with everyone, then it is up to you! I hope to start with that already next week.     Hej och gott nytt år! As said to the players before the Christmas break, and since today (Monday 6/01) is a bank holiday, there will be no practice tonight. Sorry for the late post...
