Notes from Parents meeting

Thank you all for showing up. The following are the points discussed at the meeting.
1. Team ion for games. We have the luxury for the first time in years of having too many players! While this is great it causes 2 issues. The kids who have been playing for some time (we have 6 kids who have played for more than 2 years) expect us to field the strongest team possible. However this needs to be balance against our long term goal of developing all players for the Kadett, Junior and Senior teams. So we are going to continue to the 6 who have played for some time and the coaching staff will 4 to 6 more for each game based upon our estimate of their ability to protect themselves. (yes baseball can be dangerous)
2. We are working to get a series of games with Stockholm. They suggest we play T Ball. We plan on getting in at least 4 games prior to summer break. This will allow all the kids to play in a game that has no bearing on the series outcome. It will also give the kids who have been playing for a year or so to take more central roles.
3. We will register 2 teams to Billingslaget. Stockholm would also like to play a T Ball game during the Nackencup tournament in August.
4. We are planning a BBQ end of June. Parents versus Kids softball game will be the highlight!
5. We also agreed to post the player ion for the coming games.
