Job opening: Physiotherapist/Strength Coach, First Team

KIF Örebro is a club with a First Team in the top-tier OBOS Damallsvenskan, as well as academy and youth teams. The club is currently recruiting a Physiotherapist/Strength Coach for the First Team.

The Role:
A key responsibility of the role is to develop and lead the players' physical program for the first team and the under-19s, ensuring that the girls become more physically dynamic and robust to meet the demands of the game.

But also:

- To lead the planning and delivery of the gym program.

- To support with physical testing at regular intervals throughout the season to monitor and assess each player in the first team.

- Planning and delivering is to the best standards.
Capture the success and impact of your work.
Responsible for pre-activation and activation in every football session and every game for the first team.

- Physiotherapist for the first team. Work with the players' prehab and rehab. Monitor players so they can come back after injury. Communication with the team doctors.

The Person:
Educated physiotherapist and fitness coach.
Qualification at degree level in sports science or a related area. Minimum of two years' practical experience working with football players.

A person that want to make a positive difference to our players. Hardworking, enthusiastic, and reliable.
People skills (self-assured, build rapport, empathize with others, emotionally intelligent, approachable).
Knowledge of implementing policies and procedures, especially health and safety and risk assessments.

Motivation and understanding of young football players.

Prior experience - specific and/or general - in the women's game is considered a merit.

Organizational and communication skills (written, verbal, and listening).

Scope:
This is a job that will demand 75-100%, witch a matching salary that is to be negotiated.
