Results!!

Hi All, Big congrats to our boys for sweeping the double header against Stockholm. We won the first game quite handily 12-2. We had to sweat a bit more in the 2nd match. After spotting our cross-town rivals a 7-1 lead, our bats came alive and we won 10-8. Once again, great job kids and good luck to those of you playing Little League tomorrow. We gave B Boy training tomorrow (ie Sunday) at 4.30 pm until 6 pm. Then again on Wednesday at 6 pm. Try to remember to reply about Intersport for next Sunday. Games on 5 May & Other

Hi All, Just a quick reminder for tomorrow before our exciting Opening Day double-header against Stockholm: 1. warm-up starts at 11 am. I will distribute uniforms (jerseys and pants) at the field. You need to bring your own belts and socks. Also, especially important to have your cup (Swedish: susp). 2. first game starts at 12 pm, and, the second game starts at 1.30 pm. We should be finished around 3 pm. 3. there will be a little pause in between games for the kids to get some nutrition. As such, it would be good if kids (and adults!) had a sandwich with them to have as a light meal. It could also be good with some form of fruit type snack so that kids can have some energy if needed. A water bottle is a good idea as well. 4. remember to have some form of layers. We should be fine rain-wise, but, the sun could hide for long periods of time behind the clouds. Thus, it could fluctuate between not and cold. 5. my phone number is 070 456 1424 if you have any questions about anything or concerns about the weather. I will be up and running getting things prepared starting at around 9.15/9.30 am or so. The registered players for tomorrow are: Danny William Henke C Julius Måns Jesper Max Olle Josh Philip H If anyone runs into a problem concerning attendance or anything, please give me a call or send an e-mail to alan@areim.se letting me know. That way we can plan accordingly. Finally, on a last administrative note, I have not heard back from many concerning the Intersport Cup in Arnö on Sunday, 13 May. If possible, please try to send me an e-mail letting me know whether or not you/your child will participate. If you/your child will participate, please also let me know if you will drive yourselves down to Arnö or if you need a ride down. During the course of Monday night/Tuesday morning, I will send our information trying to organize a car pool from Örvallen to the Cup. Now the real last item, you can plan on practice as usual at 4.30 pm on Sunday. It may be limited as there is a Little League match - thus, it may be a skill sharpener for some of the younger kids. Upcoming Games

Hi All, A more detailed message will come out later in the weekend, however, I wanted to send out some information about games that are coming up in the very near future so that people (i.e. parents!!) can start planning. Opening day is scheduled for Saturday 5 May when we play a double header at Örvallen against Stockholm. The first game starts at 12 pm and the second one starts at 1.30 pm. Warm-up will begin at 11 am so, everyone should be there by 11 am fired up and ready to go. We would like everyone to let us know if you want to (and can!!) play by Monday evening (i.e. 30 April). You can e-mail me at "alan@areim.se" to let me know. If you have time, I would also appreciate an e-mail as well letting me know if you will not be coming to the matches or if you will only be able to decide later in the week. After that, our next games are at the Intersport Cup in Arnö. This will be an all-day event that will see us playing up to three matches if we make the Finals. We will leave Örvallen as a team in the morning and would com back to Stockholm late afternoon should we make the Finals. More exact details will come out over the weekend or early next week. As with the games on 5 May, we would like to know both if you are coming or if you are not. Once again, e-mail me at "alan@areim.se" to let me know either way.
