Upcoming parent meeting (online) - March 4 at 8 pm

Hi U15 parents! The outdoor baseball season is approaching, if not by leaps and bounds, then at least slowly but surely… Since this season will contain some new conditions (see below), we would like to invite you to an online parent meeting on Tuesday, March 4 at 8:00 PM. Use the following link to Google Meet: https://meet.google.com/pas-utff-eay We will also have a follow-up meeting for those who can’t attend the first meeting. For those of you who wants to, let's meet on Saturday, March 8 at 11:00 AM in connection with the indoor training in Hallonbergshallen. The same information will be presented at both meetings. The agenda as follows: The team Code of Conduct Upcoming tournaments Outdoor schedule Roles & Responsibilities Per, who previously was the head coach for U15, is "moving up" to the juniors as Henry has grown out of U15 so we need to find new solutions to be able to offer great practices and a good season in general for our U15 players - and this is where we need your help. Peter (Valter's dad) and Mike (Vincent's dad) have promised to act as head coaches, but due to their jobs they can’t guarantee to be there 100% of the training season. Sofie (Gabriel's mom) may consider taking on the role of team manager and solving the practical issues around calls, attendance reporting, etc. if no one else volunteers. However, this means that we still need the following contributions from other parents: At least 4 assistant coaches from time to time who can participate during practices and, for example, catch balls, etc. - both at the practices Peter and/or Mike lead but also the others. You don't have to plan drills/set up exercises if you don't feel you can/want to. Lars (Bill's dad) and Mats (Gustav's dad) have initially expressed that they can support. Lars can help with the practicalities of booking accommodation, allocating car seats, etc. in connection with tournaments. We have planned participation in 4 tournaments (one of which is the Näcken cup in Stockholm, the others are Knäcke cup in Leksand and the Axö cup in Karlskoga) so it is absolutely possible to share the burden between several parents and it doesn't have to be the same on both occasions. There are also more areas we need help with but which we can discuss in more detail at the parents' meeting. Café service and help at games, etc. will be added as usual during the season. Think through what you can, want and have time to help with and we'll see you online on March 4 at 8:00 PM!
