  • SM BRONZE 2011!!!

    Congratulations Heat Kadetter on your Bronze place finish at the SM Youth Championships last weekend in Nyköping! We defeated Arnö 18-4 and it was a nice end to a great baseball season. Good job everyone! Offensively, we had the bats going right from the first pitch yesterday and scored a season high 18 runs! Hasse coached an aggressive game as the third base coach with both the hitters and the base runners accumulating 7 runs in the first inning alone. Defensively, Cornelius and Vincent both pitched strong games on the mound while both the infield and outfield played very well making many great plays. Trey won “Snyggaste Lyran" of the 2011 Tournament with his great catch on a foul ball pop fly on the first base line. Hasse accepted this trophy on Trey’s behalf as well as the Bronze team cup! It was a great team effort by all and we would like to again thank the parents for your support this weekend and the entire season, we appreciate all of your efforts.   • SAVE THE DATE - SUNDBYBERG BASEBALL DAY 2011

    Hello All, This weekend the Sundbyberg Baseball organization is planning something special and new for the end of the season celebration. The activities will take place at Örvallen this Saturday, September 16th starting at 9 AM with the first B-Boys game versus Alby. At 12:00, the second B-Boys team will play Stockholm Green. The Kadetter will play the Stockholm at 13:30 to 15:30. This is another chance to compete against the SM Champions on our home field. So the season isn’t really over yet...one more game to play! After our game, we will have a BBQ, a home run derby and an awards ceremony. Finally to wrap up the day, the Vets will play the Senior team starting at 17:30. It promises to be a fun filled day of baseball to celebrate the Sundbyberg Baseballs 39th Season. Also, if possible it would be great if some of the parents would be able to help out with the BBQ.
