• Referat: Landala IF (D6H) - Lövet/Johannebergs IF (D7H)

On the way leading to the highly anticipated seasonal debut (April 2nd, save the date) Landala completed the run of friendly training games facing Tisdags Lövet with some defections (the two P.Eriksson - center back captain and play maker- ) for what looked a lot like a derby on Sunday the 27th of March. Surprisingly enough the sun has been out for a good portion of the match, but audience and subs sitting on the bench were certainly reminded that winter is not yet over in this portion of the Swedish land, so everyone was dressed up and tried to keep warm. The hostility kicked off with the two sides approaching the game with every intention of keep their formations tight and study the opponent's moves. With that in mind, the first half didn't see great intensity delivered by neither side so the score was set to stay unaltered for about 25 minutes. For what shown on the pitch at the minute 26 Landala takes a fairly deserved lead when Stolpe takes advantage of Lövet's misreading of Oscander's center and taps in from a good position, cementing the gradual improvement of the orange's dialogue of the midfield. Lövet's reaction is fueled by good intentions but a bit too confused to bring an actual threat by developing attacking plays, so they resort to different ways to reach the equaliser. The referee, who by the way delivers an on point performance throughout the entire game, assigns a free kick by the end of the first half and the chasing side sees it transformed with a great execution that kisses the post before ending its trajectory behind Nilsson. The game goes at rests on the score of 1-1. The second half is played way more openly by both teams, so the intensity increases and a certain degree of animosity with it. Amid the consistent turnover of substitutions typical of a friendly game, Spargren leaves the pitch with a swollen black eye following a violent impact in the orange box. Landala continues along the lines of the first half, owning the ball and distributing towards the wings in the attempt of reaching the offensive terminal Andersson, Jonsson and Pettersson who run and fight, but don't get the chance to seek personal glory. Particularly effective is the chain on the right side where Stolpe (mvp) delivers a solid performance, showing that he is ready for the upcoming regular season. Lövet feel far from defeated and put on the pitch all they got in counter attacking fashion. A Derby is a Derby even if disputed during a pre-season session and those who are familiar with football know how is easy it is to see determination turn into actual nervosity. Right by the end of the match the chasing team sees their game becoming more complicated when a player is sent off due to reiterated protest. Just when the game seemed to be comfortably heading for a draw, Landala unexpectedly finds one final offensive stroke with the right back Samfeldt who is punctual in following the development of a corner and quick in taking advantage of a vacant ball in Lövet's box, which ends up in the net. In a matter of minutes, time is up and the orange can celebrate their win. This friendly Landala - Lövet won't probably make it to the history of football for intensity or quality play, but was surely enough a real game, played by both teams with the intention of winning it. The losing team can find consolation in their fairly solid performance, considering that there is a difference in category as well. Landala on the other hand can take home a derby that adds up to the squad's morale and some positive indications from what seen on the field, especially from the in the middle (good impact by Åkerman) and from the defensive line with Barrett particularly in shape. There is an Italian saying that translates "You can see a good day from the morning" and if that applies, we will can be sure that this is going to be a good year for the orange team. /Luca A-lag 27 mar 2017 0kommentarer
  • Referat: Landala IF (D6H) - Pushers BK (D6H)

Ribba-målvakt-in.
