"Second preseason win for the team—harder than it needed to be, but a strong display of character to push through.

We started the first half with good energy. Early on, Gabriel Granö drove through the center and slipped Liam Bourke in behind, but the goal was ruled out for a tight offside. Soon after, Erik Mäkk won the ball in midfield and found Oliver Östman, who played a great pass wide to Bourke. Liam picked out Cerah Moest at the top of the box, who opened up and finished calmly into the bottom corner to make it 0–1—his third goal of preseason.

After a long injury break, we lost some focus and made a few mistakes, which led to conceding from a poor back pass and a resulting penalty.

At halftime, the focus was on regaining control and keeping possession.

Fifteen minutes into the second half, Rasmus Wallenius delivered a corner that wasn’t touched and fell perfectly to Alexander Dylick, who finished to restore the lead. The game then grew tense, with an opposing player sent off after losing control.

Despite being a man down, Eskilstuna equalized through another penalty after a contested call, making it 2–2.

With both teams pushing for a winner, the breakthrough came in the final 10 minutes. Ameer Al-Zeyadi sparked the move with a clever turn away from his marker and a superb trivela pass into space. Gabriel Nordal collected it, held his composure, and played it back to Elias Strand, who delivered a precise cross to the far post. Wallenius, unmarked, cushioned the ball with his chest and finished calmly to seal the win and to help the team with another positive result.
