Svenstorps IK vs. BBK - matchrapporten

BKK P/F-13 entered the game against Svenstorps IF on the back of a narrow defeat against Ystad. Despite holding Ystad for most of the game at 0-0, a defensive mistake close to the end of the second half let Ystad in to sneak the game 1-0. So the game against Svenstorps IF was the opportunity to get back to winning ways. A win would take BBK to nine points, just one point behind their total from last season. The game started well for both sides, with both teams cancelling each other out in the first 10 – 15 minutes. However, it was an untidy game with neither team being able to get thieir passing game together. As the game went on BKK started to keep possession of the ball, however due to poor passing they were unable to really convert this possession into goals. Eventually BKK was able to get the ball in the back of the net, with a great run and finish from Kevin. This was followed by another goal just before half time. meaning that BKK took a 0-2 lead into the second half. Despite the score line, BBK was not playing to their full potential with many of the players failing to pass the ball effectively and missing many opportunities to make early passes to release the attacking front line. This is an area if BBK can improve, it could pay dividends in future games. After a half time team talk focusing on more passing from defence to attack, BBK quickly started to see the benefits in the second half. BKK began to use the ball more effectively especially down the wings with Marre, Zaak and Tim making some excellent driving runs down the left and right, supported by Hampus and Toby on the left and right respectively. Felix also noticed by making long passes down the left he was able to free up Zaak and Kevin to make many attacking runs to set up the front line. Zaak to full advantage of this by making several surging runs into box, with a goal and an assist. Marre was also on very good form, attacking the right hand side of the pitch and putting in some excellent crosses, with one almost resulting in a headed goal from Jonte. Overall it was a great team performance with all six goals coming from six different players! However, the score line could have been much higher if it was not for the post and some poor passing in the final third of the pitch. BBK take away another positive defensive display with the back line limiting the number of goal scoring chances for Svenstorp. Emil in particular played a strong role as the last man, supporting the players in front of him by making several good clearances when Svenstorp did manage to get through the BBK midfield. This meant Markus had a very quiet day at the office :-) BBK’s next game will be against Öja IF Vit next Sunday. If BBK could win this game it would take them to 12 points, which would take them past their total of 10 points from last season. This would be a great achievement! P-99 0kommentarer
